Al Nassr terminates player’s contract after refusing to surrender jersey to Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo’s new club has terminated Jaladian Mushaprov’s contract after the player refused to hand over the number 7 jersey to Ronaldo.

Ronaldo broke the headlines in the evening of 31st December 2022, after the Portuguese forward agreed a deal to sign for the Saudi Arabian club.

Numerous sources have reported that the 37-year-old penned down a two year contract with a mouth watering annual salary of $200M.

That deal saw the five time Ballon D’or winner become the highest ever paid athlete in the world.

Following his departure from Manchester United days after the 2022 world cup, the former Real Madrid star has been hunting for a new club as a free agent.

However, since terminating Mushaprov’s contract, Al Nassr is yet to give an official statement, as the club is reported to be silent on the matter till now.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been known by football fans around the globe for putting on his iconic number seven jersey since 2003 at Manchester United.
