Tottenham eyeing a shock move for Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun

Tottenham Hotspurs are reportedly interested in a shock move for Arsenal’s striker Folarin Balogun.

The North London side, who are looking to bolstering their attacking options after Harry Kane’s departure are said to have held internal talks to sign the 22-year-old.

The young United States international spent the 2022/23 season on a loan spell at Reims, scoring 22 goals for the Ligue 1 outfits.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the gunners want £50M for the striker, and they turned down an offer from AS Monaco for the wonderkid.

The Spurs who signed Richarlison from Everton as an upfront player, scored a single goal in the league, making it clear for Tottenham that further attacking reinforcements are needed.

Ange Postecoglou began his premier league tenure on Sunday with a 2-2 draw away at Brentford, a match that Spurs played without a Striker.

As the Mail Sport now reports, Tottenham are also considering a move for Chelsea’s outcast Romelu Lukaku, who is not in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.

Lukaku is said to be worth £30M-£40M, and he may be an affordable option for the North Londoners.

However, Tottenham are yet to submit an official bid for any of the two strikers, but they are expected to submit their bids any time soon.
